On Friday 1 March, Frank Green gave a talk about the stone carvings (the capitals, corbel table, etc) in Romsey Abbey.
It was a fascinating evening with, firstly a slideshow of the capitals, corbels and other Romanesque carvings inside and on the outside of the church, followed by a stroll round with torches to take a closer look at the actual carving of the capitals.
