This beautiful Tudor Organ is on loan to the Abbey and can be seen in Chapel of St Nicholas. It can be heard in rehearsals on Wed 1st and Thur 2nd February. All we know about the times at which it will be played is “at times on Monday and on Tuesday – but not during lunch on Tuesday”.
Pilgrims and visitors from all over the world come to this holy place. Romsey Abbey contributes significantly to the local community and is one of the major reasons for visiting the historic market town.
Like all great buildings, though, the Abbey depends on the generosity of the public and today, more than ever, we need your support to help ensure that its ministry and fabric are maintained and enhanced, now and long into the future.
The Friends of Romsey Abbey, formed in 2009, invites you to respond to the inspiration of this place and to join a vibrant network of people who are interested in and care about the Abbey and its ministry.
