August saw The Friends boating on the River Thames, travelling by coach to arrive at Salter’s Steamers Boatyard at Donnington Bridge, Oxford.

Fifty Friends boarded an historic boat called ‘Wargrave’ built in 1913, for a four-hour leisurely cruise taking in Folly Bridge,  The Head of The River, and down towards Sandford Lock.

A delicious lunch was served and thoroughly enjoyed by all.  Another happy day out on the Thames.
