Just inside the north door of the Abbey has been a timeline which time itself somewhat faded. The content has now been updated and upgraded by Trustee of the Friends of Romsey Abbey, Andrew Keeling. The replaced displays include King Charles III as well as the layout being larger and clearer. The FRA was more than delighted to fund the new displays which are on a foam board and expected to stand the passing of time for around ten years.

The Timeline does not just portray the progress of the Abbey over the centuries, but also illustrates detail on the reigning monarchs as well as national events. There is no doubt that the display is second to none. The FRA is pleased to see the completion of this project and the hope is that visitors will enjoy such a great visual experience which is both interesting and highly informative.
